We are leaving for a trip called Microcampus for 28 days. In which we will have to study and research about an inquiry project. We were given a huge list of inquiry projects to choose from. We were then told that we had to shorten that list down to three possibilities. Once we had found our three options we had to find the best and most suitable one for us. This is when I thought that I needed to have a strategy otherwise I could never cut it down to even 10 or 5. So the method that I used was that I first read through all of the topics in the list.

In Phase 0 I explained all of my topic options and explained why I chose local cuisine/popular foods. This is Phase 1, I will be explaining more about my inquiry project. I will also be posting questions that I will answer during my 28 days in Xizhou.

What I already know about this topic?

In the last Phase, Phase 1, I created questions that will be the 'fuel' for my research about my topic. In this Phase, I will be finding useful resources and interesting answers, that might even lead to better questions.

In Phase 0, I chose my final topic popular foods/cuisine in Xizhou. Then in Phase 1 I will be talking more about my topic and asking some big questions that I will then answer. This is Phase 3, I will be researching more about my topic and answering the questions that I have. But some of the information in this Phase will be answered during and before the trip.

About This Learner

Hello everyone, my name is Nina A. I am proud to say that I was part of the 2017 Ultimate Pudong Microcampus trip. There are so many things that we have taken away from this amazing 28-day experience. Something that our 'U' group and every other Microcampus group is definitely missing is the blue skies and the white and puffy clouds.
