The creation of a visitor's guide is the topic I chose for my inquiry project in Phase 0. I had a long list of various choices, and I considered each carefully before narrowing them down to my final topic.

In Phase 1, I wrote about my prior knowledge on my topic, which is the creation of a visitor's guide. I also asked 10 Big Questions that are key to fueling and progressing my inquiry work and research in Xizhou. Now, in Phase 2, I will be finding helpful resources that will give me feedback and more possible sources in order to improve and add to my work.

In Phase 0, I explored possible topic choices and narrowed them down to one final choice; the creation of a visitor's guide. I will be studying this topic during the upcoming Microcampus trip. In Phase 1, I wrote about what I already knew on the topic and posed important questions.

Previously in Phase 3, I shared and interpreted the information that I collected from online sources before the trip and also from the fieldwork I conducted out in the village during the trip. Now, in Phase 4, I will be preparing to share my findings by creating a general outline of the information I will include in my final product and sharing the most important things I have learned during my journey here.

About This Learner

I was born in Canada and my family is from China. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, playing with my dog, talking with my friends, and learning new things. I have been to two previous schools prior to coming to SAS in cold Canada and sunny California. The month that I spent at Microcampus has been really memorable and an experience that I will never forget in my life. I am yet to return to Xizhou to see the community, scenery, and taste the food again!
