This is the start of a learning journey. I cannot wait to embark on this 28 day trip to Xizhou. In preparation for this trip, we needed to choose a topic for an inquiry project that we plan on completing. It has been a long and arduous process for me, but I did manage to settle on a blend of two topics: Project/Business Management, and Local Plant and Insect Life.

This page explains Phase 1 of the Inquiry Project. On this page, I will be discussing some questions that I have as well as erecting some background knowledge about what I did in Phase 0, which was choosing my project topic: Local Plant and Small Business Case Study.

What do I already know?

In Phase 1, I started doing a little bit of research on my topic. I also created ten big questions that I will be using to guide my Inquiry Project work. In Phase 2, I will be trying to find some helpful resources.

In Phase 0 of my Inquiry Project, I chose what topic that I wanted to do: Plant/Business Case Study. From there, I moved onto Phase 1, which is where I created ten big questions that I would use to guide my research. After finished Phase 1, I moved on to Phase 2 where I tried to find helpful resources.

About This Learner

My name is Jason M. and I am from Carmel, Indiana. I am currently attending SAS Pudong and I am almost at the end of eighth grade. The experience that I got from the journey to Xizohu was probably one of the best that I have had. I am really proud that I attended Microcampus, and that is because I learned a lot of not only myself but Xizhou as well. The trip to Xizhou yielded several different small experiences that added up to one huge journey. Hopefully, I can pay another visit to Xizhou sometime.
