Characteristics:

Friendly, outgoing, respectful, informative, and helpful, are only some of the good characteristics for elderly that would be a great person to communicate and learn with. We decided on these because we thought that they would be great describers for a positive elderly that could be very helpful in terms of our service learning project. Other favorable aspects could be, that they understand and speak in the Mandarin dialect. That way we can ask questions, as well as receive supportive feedback and information that can help us get our project going.

Due to the unexpected power outage, we lost valuable service learning work time and will sadly not be continuing this project.

About This Learner

Hey, my name is Nicole and I am currently 13 years old. I was born in San Francisco, California and my parents are from Taiwan. Throughout my life I have moved 5 times so I am a pretty social butterfly. Leadership and taking risks are things that I feel confident at. Photography, dance, and swimming are my hobbies and passion. I had a very delightful time exploring new cultures on my microcampus experience in XiZhou and will miss it deeply!
