Microcampus has always been something I wanted to do, and when I found out I could go I was pretty happy. The Inquiry Project is a huge part of the trip, and I actually looked forward to the Inquiry project. However, I did not expect to have so many different choices to choose from. It took me a long time to decide which topics I would follow. I quickly eliminated a few, but I had to sit and think for a while about what I really wanted to do.

I am Kevin T. Thanks for following my journey into Phase 1. I hope you enjoyed reading Phase 0. For Phase 1, my goal is to dig a little deeper into what I really want to know about the recreation/hobbies of the XiZhou people. I am also going to try to build some background knowledge on my topic.

I have decided on my hanger. I think it should be- "How have the recreational activities and hobbies of the people in XiZhou changed with each new generation?" My subtopics are going to be games/sports, the "gender wall", and personal free time. I am going to separate those into four age groups- childhood (0-20), early adulthood (20-40), middle-aged (40-60), and older residents (60+)

About This Learner

I enjoyed Microcampus greatly and it was an amazing experience for me. I learned a lot while in Xizhou. The food is amazing, and everyone there is very nice. My Inquiry Project was about recreation/hobbies and how they have changed with each new generation.
