This is the start of a learning journey. I will be spending 28 days in a Chinese village investigating a topic that I have high interest in. At first, I had many projects that I could decide on. But, I managed to narrow the topics down to just three. The three topics were Wall Propaganda Messages in Xizhou, Local Food Products/Cuisine, and Body Language/People Watching. After asking Mr. T some questions about each topic, I chose Wall Propaganda.

In Phase 0, I started my learning journey by choosing my inquiry project. My topic is Wall Propaganda in Xizhou. At the village we are going to, I will be studying the propaganda of Xizhou. Specifically, I will be studying how propaganda gets to remote places and to secret meanings behind the propaganda. In Phase 1, I will be doing background research on my topic.

This is Phase 2 of my Microcampus learning journey. In Phase 1, I did some general research on the history of my topic, Propaganda in Xizhou, by looking at China's history from the 1950's to 2000. In Phase 2, I will contact a person who excels at things similar to my topic and ask them for some feedback.
