Microcampus is a school trip that is 28 days and has a limited amount of spots that you need to apply for. This trip allows students to go out of the bubble and to experience and learn more about rural China. On this trip we will also be doing an inquiry project. For this inquiry project you need to have a topic to research and investigate while in the village. To first narrow my topic I read all of the descriptions and chose one topic from each category.

In the previous phase, Phase 0, I went through a series of steps to choose my topic, which is Fishing in Xizhou. In this phase I will pose questions and decide what I want to investigate about my topic. Then I will began to research and prepare for the trip so I can get started straight away when we get to Xizhou.

In Phase 1 I created some questions to investigate for my inquiry project. Now I will look for helpful resources that will help me with my research and possibly spark some new questions to investigate.
