Well, that was something, wasn't it? I had thought it would be easy to send her away (because she was so excited and looking forward to it) but, no, it was not! 4 weeks!!! This is, indeed, a very long time and we will miss you like crazy, Nike.
Although I received my master degree from United States majoring in Management information system and I worked in IT field for about 8 years in the States, I graduated from Beijing University holding a Bachelor and Master degree in linguistics. To my surprise, my daughter picked up the research topic in Baizu dialect. It is not an easy topic, I am looking forward to seeing her progress in the research.
I'm the mother of 3 boys and we have been in Shanghai since 2010. Our kids were born in Mexico, where we lived for 10 years. After that we lived in the US and Europe and now we are in Shanghai. As a family we have really enjoyed the culture, chaos and change living in China has brought to our lives. Currently I am a free lance writer; active in several charities and my sons' school. If I were in 8th grade, I would have loved to experience Microcampus. What a great opportunity and I can't wait to see how Diego learns from this experience and grows during this next month.
