Phase 4: Preparing to Share: Emerging Ideas

Updated 3 years 11 months ago

For my final project, the main point that I want to share to my audience is about the business behind tea and how tea is distributed to shops. I want to show how tea leaves come from a tea plantation to the tea shops or into the convenient stores by designing a tea shop.

There are many intended audiences for my inquiry projects. For example, I want to show students at SAS or any other international school about the tea business in such a local area, like Xizhou. I want students to see what a tea vendor has to consider when they make a decision involving the tea in his/her shop.

I have learned a lot from my weeks in Xizhou. The information that I want to share is about the distribution of tea around Xizhou and how local people from Xizhou get their tea. Some other information that I want to show people is how tea vendors determine the price of tea and that convenient stores in Xizhou sell tea.

For my final product, I plan on designing my very own tea shop, to display all the knowledge that I have learned about the business of tea. I want to use many drawings with descriptions that describe the internal details about my tea shop.

Hi Ashley,

Hi Ashley,
This sounds like a very amazing idea :) I know this is very late, but just in case you would want another tea vendor to talk/refer to I know a man named 李若海 who is a tea vendor in Dali Old Town.
I'm not sure if you know him but he knows about Microcampus and would be really willing to answer any other questions you might have. His contact number is: 13887273253. Hope everything goes well!

Hi, I'm Ashley! I was part of the B4 Microcampus Group. Microcampus was such a great experience and I have grown closer to the other B4 members and local Xizhou citizens. I encourage all of the future Microcampus students to have a great time at Xizhou and cherish the time that you are there.
