Phase 4: Preparing to Share: Emerging Ideas

Updated 4 years 6 months ago

While I am finishing up the process of my inquiry project, I would need to have a thesis sentence to show the general understanding of what I am learning. My main thesis that I hope to share with my audience is: In order to fully understand what it would take to grow rice for the year, one would have to know the techniques, tools, and the background information.

As I start to finish up my inquiry project, I would have to know who might be my audience is because they might be interested in this certain topic of farming. Some of my audience might be farmers or people back in Canada . This may benefit the people because they might want to learn how to grow their own home made reason. This may benefit the farmers because they might think it is a good idea to earn money.

Some of the following information that people might need from the techniques of farming are: How to cut rice down, how to grow the rice, how to use the machines. Some things that you might need to know about tools might be: how to use the tools, why you use those tools, where you buy the tools. Some things that you might need to know about the background information: When to plant the rice, how long it takes to grow the rice, how rice reacts to certain things.

I will be using iMovie to present what I have learned through out my Microcampus experience.

I am in XiZhou now! The sun is shining and the air is clean. It is so peaceful and quiet here and everybody is so friendly. I can't wait to get out into the fields and work with the farmers. I also cant wait to get out into the village and start asking questions about my topic! The final thing that I am excited about is the service learning project. I will be really cool to learn about the past in XiZhou!
