Day 7: Wind Farm

Today, the morning was much for productive and we had much more things to do. I feel like now, I'm more organized and I actually followed my schedule. I now know how important it is to write a schedule and stick to it. Today we are actually on task and we have completed everything we need to do today.

We didn't have WIPPIS time because we had a half day trip to either the Wind Farm or Zhou Chen. I went to the wind farm. It was an amazing view. It was very windy but we had a lot of fun. At times, I felt like the wind was pushing me towards a direction. They view from the mountain was so pretty. You could see solar panels, mountains and very pretty, fluffy clouds. I had so much fun taking pictures and enjoying the view. We learned that Lee Peng's daughter owns all the windmills and solar panels. She is allowed to take and use any part of the land there. She earns a lot from these windmills. According to Mr. T, each windmill after 6 months will only earn profit. We also saw the military and tanks. It was amazing and I loved my time there.

For the evening activity, we finished Home Alone and watched a music festival at the Linden Center. The music and dances were really nice. It was a good relaxing night. I enjoyed my whole day here. It has been officially a week since we came. Tomorrow will be our first normal weekend here.

My name is Annie Y. I am part of the Superior Microcampus group. As of March 4, 2017, I arrived in Xizhou. We stayed in Xizhou for 28 days. Those 28 days has been such a unforgettable experience. I got to connect with the people here. They were very nice and welcoming. The weather was really nice. There was pretty blue skies and puffy white clouds. I miss everything about Xizhou and the Microcampus experience.
