Day 4: No Water, No Electricity, But There Are Stars

Today we spent most of our morning at the Linden Center because the water and electricity went out. I woke at 5:30 so I couldn't see a thing even when my eyes were open. The morning run was so pretty. The sky was full of stars and the moon was shining bright above us. Since, we are at a high altitude, it was really tiring to run so most of the time we ended up walking. We also had our first WIPPIS time. It's quite interesting and relies on us to have a lot of independence. For this week, we got assigned partners for WIPPIS time because we are not very familiar with it right now. Lastly, I got to see XiZhou in a different view. I got to see under the cultural iceberg. I got to see how people interact with each other and animals like dogs. It was truly an amazing day with amazing experiences. I can say the best part of my day was the morning run in the dark.

My name is Annie Y. I am part of the Superior Microcampus group. As of March 4, 2017, I arrived in Xizhou. We stayed in Xizhou for 28 days. Those 28 days has been such a unforgettable experience. I got to connect with the people here. They were very nice and welcoming. The weather was really nice. There was pretty blue skies and puffy white clouds. I miss everything about Xizhou and the Microcampus experience.
