Day 3: Learning our Routine

Today we started off with a good breakfast. We all tried a new type of food called er si which is rice noodles. It seeemd at the start to be like our normal noodles that we had all ate at home but after one bite, you could taste the difference. We then had SAS Essentials for the first time. This was kind of in a mess in my opinion because we were all over the place doing our math homework that we never really had a schedule to focus on. Later on, because me and seven other students had finished their inquiry project work, we were allowed to go on a trip to Erhai lake on our bikes while the rest was finishing up their work. At that time, I was really glad that I had finished all my work or else for four hours, I would have had to stay inside working on it. While on the bike trip, we saw a lot of nice scenery. We also saw the very blue Erhai lake. We then stopped later by a temple called the Eight Mother Temple. Upon entering, I would say that I was not very impressed. We first saw a bunch of bowls lying next to a river, infested by dirt and bugs. After though, we saw so many spiderwebs with the biggest spiders. We then talked to the woman who owned the place. She was very intereting and explained how to bowls were tribute to those who had passed.
