Day 27: Jammie Awards

Today was your 23(st) Microcampus Jammie Awards. After the beautiful (but last) sunset at the Linden Centre, we all came back to YZR, changed into our pajamas, and walked the "red carpet" to the TV room. We all waited for Mr. T to project the powerpoint onto the TV, but he had some technical dificulties. At the end, we moved to classroom 2 for our Jammie Awards.

Every single person got nominated for something at least once. I was chosen for the best twins award with Kate J, and a positive impact award. This activity gave lots of us smiles instead of frowns since it's our last day. Matt won Mr. Microcampus, and Kate J won Ms. Microcampus. I was happy for them- happy for all of us to be a part of Microcampus Dynamites. I will miss this place, these people, and this scenery and fresh air. I hope we will all be able to return someday as Dynamite and make history again!

Hello! I'm a 14 year old eighth grader. I'm from Korea, and it is my 7th year in Shanghai. I was very excited to be a part of the September-October Microcampus trip. XiZhou is a peaceful, bright, and unique town with friendly locals and wonderful scenery, not to mention the night skies, stars and fresh air. This town offered me self-confidence, and let me try something different for a month. I wish luck (and lots of fun) to the next group who will be part of this remarkable journey!
