Day 27: Goodbyes

Today was our last full day of Microcampus. We spent most of the day doing a final wrap up things, such as checking through our inquiry projects and saying goodbyes. Mia and I visited (and bought some rose buns) from Ms. He, and I was really sad to say goodbye to her. We also said goodbye to Mr. Yang, but he was not there so we asked his wife to pass on the message. Afterward, we went with Audrey to drink and chat with Mr. Huang, the owner of a tea shop. He told us a lot about tea, and he was definitely the one that changed my opinion on tea. Normally, I do not like to drink tea, but after going to Mr. Huang's place I started to really like tea. I am very sad to say goodbye to Xizhou, our home for four weeks. I cannot wait to share my experiences in Xizhou with my classmates back in Shanghai!

Hello! My name is Debbie S. and I am 13 years old. I am Taiwanese and I love swimming and roller coasters. Applying for Microcampus was definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made, and it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Even though the experience only lasted for four weeks, the memories will stay with me forever.
