Day 27: Goodbye Xizhou
Today was the day I have been dreading for. It feels surreal that we are leaving tomorrow. This month has gone by faster than I ever thought or expected. I did not comprehend how fast these four weeks have gone by until now. The day has gone by really fast. It is already the afternoon. In the afternoon, I went around the village with Angela to say goodbye to the locals we met. We bid our farewells and hugged the locals. It was a sad day and the gloomy day made it even more emotional. Just the thought of leaving and never seeing these locals again just makes me want to cry. Everything I have experienced here will stay in my heart forever. I am happy and excited to see my family and friends it is just that I am going to leave this wonderful place.
Today's evening activity is the Jammy Awards. According to Mr. T, there is another "less" famous award called the Grammy Awards. It is a Microcampus tradition to have the Jammy Awards on the last evening we are here. I can not wait for the Jammy Awards and our last evening in Xizhou.
