Day 25: Mr. T's All Star Whiz-Bang Super Duper Trivia Night?

For the evening activity tonight, it was Mr. T's All star Whiz-Bank Super Whiz-Bank Trivia Night. I think that is what it is called. Our teams where the same as our service learning groups (Sabrine, Yanncik, and Melanie.) Sabrine and I came up with the costumes, props, and the team name. We were called the Magical Demon Exorcizers. We wore all black and carried around plungers, toilet paper, and fake poop flags. Everyone else basically wore everything they brought. We also tried keeping a poker face the whole time to make ourselves look serious. There were 7 categories of questions, each questions ranging from 1 point to 5 points. Some of the categories were science and technology, natural world, T.M.I (Mr. T and Ms. Mai information) and a bunch of others. The first round, we fell behind about 10 points, while the other groups were far ahead. The second round we caught up a couple points but still, we were behind. The final round was where you were given 1 question from each category to answer. You then could choose a number of points no higher than what you have, to either gain or loose, depending if you got more than 5 out of the 7 questions correct. We only had 62 points... one group called the Red Violets had 92. We were sure one of the groups would bet all their points so, we chose to bet 58 points. And because we have so much skill when it comes to trivia, we ended up with a total of 120 points! The Red Violets had 47 points and the Peppered Speckled Moths or something... had 1 point remaining. To conclude a great night, we took a group photo and waved our poop flags "goodbye."

My name is Sydney F. and I'm currently 12 years old. (Turning 13 after we come back from Microcampus!) I have been at SAS since the middle of 6th grade, so almost 2 years. Some of my interests include listening to music, playing all sports, reading books, and being with my friends and family. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different life styles and that is one of the reasons I joined this program. Microcampus was a great experience and I am glad I got to share it with the people I did. I look forward to coming back to Xizhou some day.
