Day 25: Goodbye Dali OldTown

Today was our third and final visit to Dali OldTown. I am going to miss this place because it is really cool. Just now, I did a little calculation and I spent an approximate total of 268.5 RMB on stuff. I brought many items for my family, friends, and myself.

For my mother I brought: a piece of tie-dye cloth, green tea, and black beans. For my father I brought: a pig statue symbolizing wealth. For my elder sister I brought: a bracelet. For my younger sister I brought: a bag. For my friends I brought: bracelets. And last but not least, for myself I brought: a bag, hippie pants (to match with Alex and Cass), and bracelets.

Anyways, at Dali OldTown, we went to Bad Monkey, Cafe 88, and the Sweet Tooth to eat. Cafe 88 is a pretty sweet cafe. They have really good cakes too, just like the Sweet Tooth. So to all you future Microcampus kids out there: make sure to check out Cafe 88.

Overall, Dali OldTown is an awesome place to hang out and chill after a week of intense Inquiry work. :D Thanks T for bringing us there!

Cool :D

It's really kind of you to be thinking about your family and friends even when you are on Microcampus. I wish I can go to Da Li to experience what y'all felt. Café 88 sounds delicious, definitely better than Café 678. :)

Hi I'm Peyton, and I was part of the B4 Microcampus group (March-April 2013). The Microcampus experience was really amazing and I was so glad that I was a part of the B4 Microcampus group. My Inquiry project wason Traditional Chinese Medicine. Please feel free to look at my blog posts anytime!
