Day 24: Initiate Back-up Plan Mr. Li

Today I worked on my service learning for most of the day. I spent only 1 hour or so on my inquiry work, but that's alright because I already wrote my first draft. :D *be sure to check it out on my final product page*

At 1:00, we went to Dr. Zhao's to find Mr. Zhao, but he wasn't there, so we told Dr. Zhao to call me if he shows up. We decided to wait too, so we went to a drinks shop and ordered some bubble tea. It wasn't that bad. Soon we decided to head back because we thought Mr. Zhao wasn't going to show up. As we arrived at the doorstep of YZR, my phone rang and Dr. Zhao said Mr. Zhao arrived. Frustrated but happy that we caught him, we headed back to the direction of Dr. Zhao's pharmacy.

When we arrived there, we greeted them and asked Mr. Zhao some more questions and if we could take a picture of him. Mr. Zhao, no longer being the kind sharing man he was, started shaking his head saying no picture no questions. We talked to him, trying to convince him, but nothing worked. So we were really frustrated, and I was especially angry because we were just one video short of finishing. All this time and work just to be wasted.

Then I became sort of angry and moody, but luckily Mark quickly thought of an old friend we had (whose name he thought was Mr. Yen but it turned out to be Mr. Li). We went to his restaurant and talked to him. He was extremely friendly and I have to say, I really like him.

I was glad we interviewed Mr. Li because I think he was a better fit for this project and he seems very happy to be part of it. :D

Hi I'm Peyton, and I was part of the B4 Microcampus group (March-April 2013). The Microcampus experience was really amazing and I was so glad that I was a part of the B4 Microcampus group. My Inquiry project wason Traditional Chinese Medicine. Please feel free to look at my blog posts anytime!
