Day 18: Ending Up Different

"Sometimes it ends up different and it is better that way"

My group was not sure if our service-learning partner, Ms. Duan had been a partner to the Microcampus Alumni before. During our first conversation with Ms. Duan, she said that she has been to Yang Zhuo Ran before, but when we asked if students had made a video of her, she said no. My group decided to call her again today and to go on the Microcampus Youtube channel to make sure that she has not been a partner before. However, when we contacted her, she explained clearly this time that she has been a service-learning partner before. To be sure, we went on the Youtube channel and realized that Ms. Duan was a service learning partner for the L group. We then looked through our list of other potential service-learning partners and found Mr. Tan. When we went to talk to him, he agreed and was available for the video-sharing day.

Our project ended up being about a different person, and maybe it will be better. We will never know.

I'm 13 years old and my favorite hobbies are to bake and do crafts. I am originally from Taiwan, however, I have only lived in Taiwan for a year. This is my 8th year at Shanghai American school. I awent to Xizhou and enjoyed the environment a lot. Although the place is different from what I expected, it is even better.
