Day 17: Hey! An Uneventful Day!

Well today was rather uneventful!

After my usual morning routine and a lovely lunch at the Linden Centre, I set out for Happy Embroidery (as I do everyday) in order to work on my final project. After a confusing lesson of trying to piece together how to use the proper techniques, I left and went to visit my Service Learning partner. Mr. Li was unfortunately taking a nap and I left gingerly, afraid to disturb him. I then met with Harry for an afternoon of finding Inquiry Project sources! After a good deal of walking and finding three sources, we bought fried tomato potatoes (it rhymes!) and adopted fluffy teddy bear named Taffy.

We then returned and chilled in the library for a bit, finding the Linden Centre on a monstrous, high-definition picture of Xizhou and headed out for dinner.

That was one relaxing day!

Thank you, precious readers! May the force be with you.

My name is Ryane and I am a fourteen year old student in SAS Puxi. My interest in Microcampus stemmed from a desire to participate in something outside of my sheltered metropolitan lifestyle where everything is done for me and I am painfully inexperienced. I have lived in Shanghai for eight years now but was born in Taipei, Taiwan to an English speaking family of six cousins and numerous relatives. I have left Xizhou and missing it most painfully, however, I am happy and excited for all future Microcampers and the amazing experience they will experience. Be good to T and Ms. Mai!
