Day 15: Mr. T's Attempt To Be A Cuber

In our 5-4-5 meeting today, Mr. T bet that he could solve a rubix cube in under 3 minutes. But, this was a one sided bet. If he could not solve it, everyone would get free ice cream for the day. 2 minutes and 30 seconds in, he nearly solved the cube. There was only one more turn left to do. Shannon A. then said "Oh, even I can solve it!" We all replied laughing, "No you can not!" It distracted Mr. T just enough to make him flip the cube the wrong way. 2 minutes 45 seconds...no where near finished. 2 minutes 50 seconds...not even half way. 3 minutes... times up! Mr. T was very disappointed in himself I think but, he still kept on trying to solve the cube. Thanks to Shannon A. and Mr. T's "skills", we all get free ice cream on the hottest day while we are here.

My name is Sydney F. and I'm currently 12 years old. (Turning 13 after we come back from Microcampus!) I have been at SAS since the middle of 6th grade, so almost 2 years. Some of my interests include listening to music, playing all sports, reading books, and being with my friends and family. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different life styles and that is one of the reasons I joined this program. Microcampus was a great experience and I am glad I got to share it with the people I did. I look forward to coming back to Xizhou some day.
