Day 13: Too Easy
Wow, the last day was easy.
WOW, the last day was easy.
WOW, THE LAST DAY WAS EASY.
Finally, as my friends struggled and bumbled and fell, I rose and walked steadily and easily down three thousand two hundred thirty two feet with my trusty walking stick and new motto: I don't even care.
I came up with this motto when crossing various streams, while my fellow Groundbreakers tried painstakingly to avoid getting their hiking boots wet, I simply walked across without looking back.
We came down the mountain as a group, holding back the insane urge to kiss the flat ground we traipsed upon, and thanked every god in existene that it was done. Later at dinner, I threatened to stab and/or strangle the next person that mentioned the word 'hike' with vigor and commitment.
Thus ends our three day hike, I am eagerly awaiting our next adventure and happy to be home. Stay tuned!
