Day 13: ELA Journal #2

Today, this is another one of our language arts journal about power and control in Microcampus, how much power my role has in Microcampus and whether I have any power and control in Microcampus. In Microcampus, everyone has certain roles that they have to fulfill, the roles that I must fulfill is planning evening activities and also reminding everyone of their common areas that they must clean up after themselves or after other people have used them. I am also in the role of maintaining positive impact, which means that I must remind everyone else along with my group that we need to maintain a positive impact and not affect people around us in a negative way. In Microcampus, my role has a decent amount of power because my committee and I get to decide what people do during their evening activity time, and I also get to decide which place does one person have as their common area. In Microcampus, we do not have a lot of power and control, although we still have some, some ways that we have power is that we can decide how we affect the lives of other people so that we do not ruin it for them. Some demonstrations of control in Microcampus is that we get to decide our own schedule which means that we have control over how our day goes, and also, we get the control what food we eat, the committee can also decide what people do during their "Pitching In" time. This is basically how much power and control that I can get during Microcampus.
