Day 12: Asian Sweqq©

Today wasn't really an exciting day but during WIPPIT Time, Faye Vanessa and I biked to HeYiCheng and JingGuiShi to help Vanessa find and talk to bamboo weavers  for her Inquiry Project. I kind of just tagged along with them but at the same time, I learned a lot of interesting things about bamboo weaving. I even saw an elderly weaving one in front of me which I thought was extremely cool. This trip wasn't that useful for my Inquiry Project but it definitely got me interested on bamboo weaving. The part that I thought was most fun would probably be speeding back to the Linden Center. It was pretty much the same route coming back from the tongue of the ErHai Lake.

Tonight for the evening program, we had a Trivia Night hosted by the awesome Mr. T. It was a really cool experience to test our knowledge on things that we normally don't think about. I was grouped with Katherine, Taylor and Apoorva (*Pssst* Also known as the Asian Sweqq). Sadly, we didn't win but on the bright side, we got third place (I think)! I had a great time and hopefully we'll be able to do this again.

How is the weather there?

How is the weather there? Shanghai is raining today and getting cold. In your writing, you tend to use "cool". Try to use different and more descriptive words to describe how you feel.

Hey! My name is Vivian, I'm 14 years old and this will be my 4th year here at SAS. I've lived in New Jersey, Singapore and currently in Shanghai but I am originally from New York. Some of my hobbies include swimming, drawing, listening to music and playing the piano. I'm going to miss the blue skies, starry nights and the nicest local villagers I have ever met. I hope the rest of you guys will enjoy Xizhou as much as I did :)
