Day 10: ErHai Adventure

Today was a day of adventure. Mark, Jason, Chris, and I decided to go biking to Lake ErHai, despite the fact that there was a drizzle. We put on our helmets and our beautiful bright orange vests, and hopped onto our bikes.

We rode on the trail that would lead us to ErHai. When we finally arrived there, the boys decided to have a "little race" to see who could skid the farthest or something, so they biked rather fast on the road. I, completely uninterested in this foolish behavior just continued to ride slowly behind them, then suddenly out of nowhere, I see Chris falling onto the ground. I rode over to where he was and saw that he was in pain.

Chris lifted up his pant leg and showed us his nasty skid mark on his leg. We immedietly called Mr. T to inform him of what just happened. Meanwhile, a nice german couple rode by and offered us some tissue and a bandaid. I took the tissue and poured some water on it and cleansed the outer area of his wound. Then I took the tissue and covered the wound, and took off my bright orange vest and made a little cast cover-up thing for his wound. I have to admit, it was a rather smart idea.

After we fixed him up slightly, we headed back home. Chris couldn't bike anymore, so he had to walk his bike back the whole way. Jason led the way back and Mark and I just biked slowly by Chris' side. Unfortunately, it started raining heavily now, and all of us were completely drenched. My blue pants turned into dark blue pants, and it was most uncomfortable. After what seemed like 30 minutes of walking in the rain, we finally were back at YZR.

Lucky for us, none of us were heavily injured- just some minor injuries...So I have to say, today was most definetly an unforgetable adventure. Cannot wait for tomorrow may bring!! :D
