Day 6: Walls to Windmills

"When the winds of change build, some people build walls and others build windmills" -Chinese Proverb

During the half-day trip, a group of us went to the wind farm up in the mountains. It was a really cool experience to see how large the windmills really are compared to us. When we first arrived, Mr. T told us to keep our heads down, then all at once, when we were all in a line, we all lifted our heads up at the same time to see a humongous windmill in front of us. We all "oooo" ed in sync. Behind us was a large field of solar panels. Though the windmill was huge, the wind was not very large and it was very calming.

Though people build walls, I prefer windmills.

I'm 13 years old and my favorite hobbies are to bake and do crafts. I am originally from Taiwan, however, I have only lived in Taiwan for a year. This is my 8th year at Shanghai American school. I awent to Xizhou and enjoyed the environment a lot. Although the place is different from what I expected, it is even better.
