Day 22: Another Day of Hacky Sack

Today is December 9. It is the last Saturday in Xizhou. Today we got to wake up late before going to breakfast. We woke up at 8:15 and then headed downstairs to the kitchen. After our breakfast, we played some hacky sack in the courtyard. It was then time for our service learning, but then time was up so we had to go to our service learning. For service learning, we went over to our service learning parter's shop to talk to her about when she would like to meet us. She said she would like to meet us at 7:00-8:00 tonight so we can watch her dance with her friends because that is one of her hobbies. We came back to Yang Zhou Ren and it was lunchtime. We finished lunch pretty early, so we went out to the courtyard and played more hacky sack. After a couple minutes, if only 4 people playing, we brought and more people, and became 6 people playing. Today was a really relaxed day, and we only have 6 more days left.

My name is Saleem E. I am 13 years old and my favorite sport is soccer. I am back in Shanghai, but I am missing beautiful Xizhou. My inquiry project was woodcarving, but I changed it to Myths/Stories/Legends in Xizhou. Xizhou was a great experience and not only did it teach me many valuable lessons that I will take with me through my journey of life, but it also taught our group valuable lessons. I would like to thank Mr. Tafel and Ms. Mai for their support and patience during this trip. Microcampus has opened up my eyes, and after going to Xizhou I view our world in a totally different way. Thank you Xizhou.
